Diamond Revenues, Voodoo2 board margins, and STB CC:

Marc:
Hem, maybe that's me who (it sometimes happen) has not understand but DIMD
sales are :
Q1 186.2M
Q2 172.3M
Q3 123.2M

My bad. I pulled the 150M from memory (I shoulda looked it up). The 50% of Diamonds Q2 was from the conference call so maybe my embarassment can yield some real numbers. Okay, so if Q2 sales were 172.3M and 3dfx was 50% of that, then 3dfx sales were 86.2M, right? Well this was the same quarter that Diamond represented 42% of 3dfx sales of 58.6M. So Diamond bought 24.6M in 3dfx chips.

Bottom line: It took 3dfx 24.6M in 3dfx chips to produce 86.2M in boards. Looks like the retail boards were going for about 3.5x the chipsets. Potter, a 3.5x markup help for your calcs?

Here's the quote from the conference call Marc. I'll let you guys do the interpretation:

"STB's management also estimates that all combined commerical board graphics revenue for all suppliers of 3dfx based products was between 800M and 1B dollars sales into retail end distribution."
