Quaddad - I will be curious to know on what date the IRS will calculate the tax on your IRA's assets. Since my wife had a larger IRA to convert, I wasn't even going to do mine because we would have been cutting it close on covering the taxes. But as it stood, I figured we could make it unless my stocks took a sudden surge upward. I was actually hoping that my stocks would not perform well for a few days, but the days turned into weeks...
