James,

I found the attached PR today. I talks about drilling activity adjacent to "our" property. This could explain the recent activity in Exall by a "newcomer" (DS)?. Can't wait for the EXPERTS to make this subtle connection between the two properties. BMA traded over 1.1 mln shares with heavy buyer interest yesterday. (BUT DO YOUR OWN DD).

Pay close attention to the third paragraph of the PR. And for those of you who can follow the Destor-Porcupine fault, count the headframes.

This drilling also gives an excellent "blue sky" of the potential of the Glimmer/Exall JV property and Glimmer's own property SHOULD these holes record a hit and by the recent activity (and remember this VG country) it APPEARS that they must be pulling (or have pulled) some good mineralization/intersections. Looks positive for "our property". The bad news is that when potential investors hear that the JV partners are "in litigation" it acts as a deterrent to investment. This is about the fourth or fifth opportunity that will be negated by the protracted dispute.

After the Argentina (ARP)attention it appears that the "Bre-X dark cloud" MAY have moved on, making legitimate plays attractive for SPECULATIVE market players:

Also Cypress Minerals Corp (CYP)

Mr. Robert Paul reports BMA Mining and its joint venture partner, Cypress Minerals have completed two diamond drill holes at their Hislop Township gold project in the Timmins Mining Camp.

A third hole collared on the northwestern corner of the claim group has encountered volcanic rocks including quartz carbonate which are common to many producing gold mines in the region. Core samples from three holes have been submitted for assay and results will be released when they are available.

The property is bounded by the Exall-Glimmer gold mine 1.5 kilometres to the northwest and by Pangea Gold Mines' five kilometres to the east which has announced plans to go into production in 1999. Drilling has indicated that the Destor-Porcupine fault traverses the Hislop Township property along a northwest-southeast trend line.

BMA/CYP have the right to earn 100 per cent of three patented mineral claims which comprise approximately 960 acres in Hislop Township.

The companies have decided to expand the drill program to include a fourth hole before the program shuts down for the holiday season.
