Ugh! I'd hate to have been a "broker" in the "old days!" I'd never get past the cold calling. I'm a partner in a small money management firm. The majority of my accounts are managed accounts which I have full trading authority over. About 1/2 are not-for-profit organizations. So, I do try VERY hard to eek out a 1/4 or 1/2 wherever I can. greg
