Shawn -
have they gained back the customers like Microsoft and Boeing that they lost to Dell?

CPQ did not lose Microsoft to Dell - CPQ has virtually 100% of Microsoft's internal computer infrastructure. They are the standard server both for Microsoft's ITG (internal IM) and for MSN. They are the standard laptop for Microsoft's field, and for the development organizations. They are the reference platform for NT5 and are the exclusive hardware platform for the (now Windows2000) rapid deployment platform. They are the development platform for NT64. My understanding is that more than 90% of Microsoft's purchases of hardware for its own use is CPQ equipment.

DELL has sold some desktop systems into Boeing, and no one can argue that DELL's desktop products and sales force are competitive. But CPQ's server sales to Boeing remain strong, and Boeing is increasing its use of CPQ services.
