trust200 - Much of what you post is fundamentally accurate. As for your suggestion or prediction of an additional teleco announcement by year end - that too sounds wonderful. But as most have experienced over the past 4-5 months, there have been numerous predictions that all of which have proved to be incorrect. Nevertheless, given that at least 11 carriers have been engaged in internal trials for as long as 8 months, it would not surprise me to hear that at least one more is about to participate in further market trials. Fact is, if we don't hear from at least one more teleco during the month of January 1999, then that would signal to me that there may be a problem or that the telecos are not moving in the direction of Portico.

What has puzzled me is why is Pacific Bell or Pacific Wireless in California preparing to offer Wildfire instead of Portico. My understanding is that Portico is far superior, is more flexible, can be easily customized, is less expensive to set up, and is cheaper. How did GMGC marketing folks miss this one?
