the recent INTERNEXT/Level 3 deal provides some metrics. McCaw acquired 24 fibers, one empty conduit, and rights to 25 percent of any fibers in any conduits over five along all of LVLT's planned 15,000 mile domestic network for $700M. (c.f. siliconinvestor.com
