Taichi: I think it is about time that the truth be known concerning CDMA (in general) IPR. That is Qualcomm are only one company with patents in this field. I have so far come across numerous companies that hold IPR with regard to CDMA and WCDMA.

The question that the analysts and journalist ask, if they are negative about Qcom is, "Who the hell are they?". As I said they are just one company and yet the most intransigent in the issue. The reason of course is money, as it is for any company, but the fact is the industry have always "pooled IPR" and Qualcomm are not interested.

The much touted NTT and GSM operator release hasn't appeared yet, it was meant to this morning. After much searching I haven't found it. It may prove to be a turning point.

Has anyone seen it?
