Andrew: I don't know when the earnings announcement is - from previous experience my best guess is Jan. 13-14. Yes, $42 is the breakout point/overhead resistance and the old high 39-5/8 is the support. During the basing period, "negative" news like yesterday will bring us to bottom of the base and "positive" news like today will bring us to the top. Still maintaining that CPQ will breakout during the first week of January - the 8th sounds good (birthday of all the greats - David Bowie, Elvis Presley, Soupy Sales and moi). That would make for a nice 5 week base - current base is too short. K
