Wayne, Help me out here I do not intend to short MLRE. However, I called Schwab and they said that MLRE is not marginable pursuant to exchange rules at this time. Also, Schwab said that they did not have any shares of MLRE to loan. If MLRE cannot be shorted, then it helps the longs. I don't know that much about short selling. Wayne, was the Schwab representative correct when he said that the exchange rules prevent short selling of MLRE at this time? Also, will traders be able to short MLRE in the future? If so, when?
