imho, the best introduction is also the free-of-charge one: the chicago board of exchange, which is where all our options deals are executed, puts out a beginner's guide to options: cboe.com or, if reading it electronically is a hassle, call your broker and ask for a (free) booklet called "characteristics and risks of standardized options," which is the same thing as the link, only in paper form. good luck and let us know how your foray into (intel) options goes.
