Who is Spring? If he feels that Cisco is behind NT and LU (when it comes to moving traffic across an IP infrastructure) is ahead of Cisco...well, then he's smoking some really good stuff. Unfortunately those installing IP nets aren't smoking the same stuff. They know that CSCO is the leader in IP networking. Old world networks are a thing of the past. The slow moving legacy giants will have difficulty keeping up with Cisco while also trying to learn how to migrate (NOT adapt - it won't work) their business to these new world networks. Mind you, they have to migrate their businesses while still maintaining a revenue stream. NET and comes to mind. The once TDM giant could not move to the newer ATM and Frame Relay networks since they had too much to lose since they were selling TDM nets. They didn't adjust and now they are also-rans.
