Re Impeachment: It crossed the line for me as I realized Clinton had committed perjury. I think he should go to jail, as the rest of us would. If he were honorable he would resign. That he can't see he should resign, that he doesn't understand the gravity of his failure, worries me immensely. As a "present" danger. He still thinks it's nothing. He still attempts to confuse his party into supporting him.

I'm embarrassed the Demos support him. What's he gotta do? (I'm not a Republican.)

The highest officer in the land committing perjury. We HAVE to get rid of him. It's plain and simple. No other course available. If this were Nixon, we'd be peeling his grapes right now. I want whoever pulls this in the future to know they're going to jail. It's got nothing to do with Paula or Monica now. I don't support censure, I demand a criminal trial.

Two years in jail would be a start. No pardon; he should be prosecuted.

Who he was screwing or whether it was harassment is immaterial now. He chose to very foolishly, very foolishly lie; about things most of us don't care about ~ but that doesn't matter. That's the incredibly stupid road he took and now Mr Incredibly Stupid and Arrogant has to pay. Just like we do, for stupidity.

The Demos are fools. They should ask for his resignation and back Al. They want to defend a criminal? Why? What do they care? What's in it for them? There are clear options open for them. It seems they are almost conspiring to release a criminal now. They are the ones now making this partisan, and history will show that.

Even Newt had more honor, in stepping out. My respect for Bill is GONE. He's a garden variety criminal now. No matter how capable he may be. He'll drag this country through another two years of embarrassing, painful hell. The war against Iraq needs prosecuted, and I don't want him doing it. Billy, you gotta go, and you gotta pay.

A year or two in jail, put there by a jury, might give him the time and space he needs to "see". I'll be pissed off if he's pardoned; he has no right to be. Just because he was President? To hell with that.

Sorry. Gettin snippy about this. Snippier every day. It's embarrassing so much of the country wants it dropped. I can only think they don't realize what's happened.

Yadda yadda. More yaddas.
