Momentum/value is too simple a distinction, and they are not mutually exclusive.

For the most part I buy companies with great managements that are clearly leading and gaining share in a category addressing a huge (emphasis huge) franchise business opportunity, have scalable models and immense operating leverage, are growing margins, are under institutional accumulation, have high visibility and broad analyst coverage.
