j g,

I'm an independent, not that it matters. You can be of either party and be "partisan". Partisanship in my mind is defined as blind adherence to a political party line on all issues.

Whether or not perjury an impeachable crime is for the House to decide and that is exactly what is happening. The House has the evidence to study and now a judgement is necessary.

If as a House member, you don't agree that perjury is an impeachable offense, then you can vote no. That is the democratic process. The Dems have tried every thing in their power to thwart that process, since they are in the minority, it isn't working. Thank God.

I'm sorry to hear that you think perjury is acceptable by ANYONE let alone the POTUS when the intent is to defraud an individual citizen their constitutional rights. There is absolutely nothing in the Constitution that says a president must commit crimes against the state to warrant impeachment. I could spend all afternoon listing "misdemeanors" that could constitute reason for the removal of a president from office, without ANY crime being committed.
