Maracote International Resources Inc MCEShares issued 19,663,0001998-12-17 close $0.72Friday Dec 18 1998Mr. Chet Idziszek reports Abdullah Basodan, J. Douglas Brown, Nell Dragovan, Chet Idziszek and Daniel Matthews were elected as directors at the company's annual general meeting held Dec. 16, 1998. At a board of directors meeting held immediately following the annual general meeting, Mr. Matthews was appointed non-executive chairman; Mr. Idziszek was appointed as president and CEO; and Mr. Stewart was appointed as secretary. Mr. Stewart was also appointed as a director. The company is presently awaiting the results of its initial diamond drilling program on its Halley property in the Republic of Peru. It expects to be in a position to release these results early in the new year.
