Artificial Life (ALIF) goes public yesterday and triples to 26 1/2 giving it a market cap of almost $250 million for this developer of new search engine technology. Its revenues are under $1 million. OTOH, two other advanced search engine developers, WCTI has a market value of about $78 million while EXGP has a market cap of about $13 million.
