Oh dear. So many posts to read. I sleep, you all write! Without reading them - other than Gregg's two last ones, I hereby conclude: ------------------------------------------------------------------ "FIG LEAVES ON TUESDAY" W3G announcement. L M Ericsson says they have decided in the interests of global harmony and self-sacrifice to bow to the obstinate, senseless, self-interest of QUALCOMM so that NTT and other operators who MUST get some progress can get underway. A single, harmonious, synchronicity is vital. While more inefficient, the low chip rate demanded by QUALCOMM to unfairly benefit the old style CDMA will have to form the basis of W3G. ----------------------------------------------------------------- So the price of Q! drops?!! Oh well, pile in while there is a chance. I'm going to savour the victory while I read some of the thread - can't read it all at one sitting - and hope I don't get a jaw-drop fright along the way. Mqurice $80 coming up! 16,000 for the Dow Feb 2002. Don't miss the boat...
