The rights offering is indeed good news for long shareholders and new shareholders getting involved, and is most certainly bad news for the 1.9 million shorts (most think the short figure is closer to 3 million). The yahoo message board was the place to be today to have answers to shareholder questions and concerns (and surprisingly shill free for the day). I would encourage anyone wanting to know about the rights offering, to go to yahoo btim thread and read messages 10956 through 10998.
