Joan,

Which Brouhahah are you referring to? The sex or the lies?

Yeah, I agree that Clintons sexual exploits while in office have indeed been "low comedy". I just disagree with you that there is ANYTHING funny about perjury, obstruction of justice, and abuse of power.

I've spent these many months trying with little success to point out to the Clinton defenders that the distinction between Clintons sexual proclivities and his lies under oath are TOTALLY DIFFERENT THINGS. But it ALWAYS comes back to just that, witness your comments after the Livingston "revelations".....

Even today, we hear congressmen making their "argument" in favor of BC based on the "unimpeachiblity" of sexual conduct. We have people like Alan Dershowitz screaming about "sexlies" (a new form of lying, not subject to perjury?) I guess they don't get it either.

So you think the whole brouhaha( which BTW, I just looked up again in the dictionary and find it interesting to note that it says public uproar esp. in regard to a minor event, are you saying much ado about nothing?) has been low comedy from the outset?

What you recommend be done to elevate this lowly topic?
