You shouldn't have ANY problems. Windows 98 will install IE$ Explorer, but will NOR remove your Netscape. You just won't uses IE4.
I've installed windows 98 first BETA and than final release in 2 desktops .

Good luck.
Be sure to keep a copy of your exixting windows. It will ask you if you want to and save it on your H/D. If you have problems, you can remove 98 and your orginal programs will still be there.
