Calypso, From your comments you indicated that JAWZ has a tougher challenge in selling their products than AETI since their technology is not industry standard yet. At the same time, AETI has a tougher challenge to compete against bigger names like SDTI. Assuming that both AETI & JAWZ management are not lieing, Let us make some comparision betn these two companies : - Both AETI & JAWZ are Canadian based companies. It appears that JAWZ has better management(several board of directors) than AETI. IMO, JAWZ atleast on papaer may have an edge over AETI. - AETI has received Canadian govt. funding whereas JAWZ has not. Does this mean that AETI has a better technology than JAWZ ? - JAWZ has no major commercial customers yet whereas AETI is selling products or working with clients like : (1) Vancouver Stock exchange (2) European FORTUNE 500 bank (3) Major Military in Europe - AETI has atleat one OEM signed with them. - AETI has passed 2/3 rds of FIPS cert. process. I don't know JAWZ's status on this. It appears that assuming that demand for encryption software products grow in the coming months, IMO AETI has a better chance of succeeding ahead of JAWZ since AETI's contracts apeear to result in immediate revenues than JAWZ. But again, for the success of any company (especially startups), a strong management is a MUST and so far I doubt if AETI's current management has the ability to succeed well no matter how they claim their technology is superior. I wish they will do a better job in that. I would like to know what your views about the prospects of both AETI & JAWZ. Thanx, Sai...
