Just a guess, but I would say that it was related to options expiration, this being a triple witching Friday, however one really never knows. BTW, I am a newby to AFCI, I started a position today. There has been some talk about the Sprint news, and in my opinion, I would think that AFCI has a nice piece of business out of this. If you follow the press releases then you will see what I mean. On 10/09/98 AFCI released that their next generation DLC, or the UMC 1000, had been standardized at Sprint for ( HIGHER DENSITY) line size apps. This was tied in with a 2 1/2 year national distribution contract for local exchange networks. Now then when they released last quarter's numbers, there was a brief about (Domestic local exchange) business looking up. So now you have Sprint announcing that they will deploy a local broadband, integrated (ON-DEMAND) network. I may be wrong but I read a nice piece of business into this for AFCI, not to mention the fact that they are also involved with Source-net for a new (ON DEMAND) network. I believe their future looks pretty good. Now if Asia comes back on line next year, things will definitely look up.
Best to all
