Relax, Robert! The Republicans are being handed a long rope, and they are hanging themselves with it! It is silly to PO vast sections of the electorate in order to pander to the rabid demands of an increasingly bloodthirsty (and gradually shrinking) extreme faction.

Of course, they won't know all this until well after the next elections! After their ship runs aground, watch for oodles of "post-mortem" sessions on radio, TV and elsewhere...
