And now we see Alstom continue to waste their money on Ballard too! from interactive.wsj.com Alstom Invests XEU25 Mln In Fuel Cell Technology Dow Jones Newswires PARIS -- Franco-British engineering group Alstom SA (ALS) said Friday it will invest 25 million European currency units (XEU) to create a fuel cell technology factory in Dresden, Germany, in a joint venture with Canadian engineering company Ballard Generation Systems. The new fuel cell system will be used in electric and thermal decentralized power plants which generate between one and 10 Megawatts, Alstom said in a statement. The company added that electricity and gas deregulation in Europe will boost demand for small decentralized power plants to grow substantially in coming years.
