>>What did you think about that analyst the other day that said MU to 200 by the year 2001<<

I think he is either smoking crack or wants to dump a lot of shares he got stuck with a couple of years ago. <ng>

AMZN - I will day trade it if I ever get some time off work but it is not worth diddly in my book (pardon the pun). It is an example of what I was talking about with KEA. AMZN "might" make a profit by 2002 so it trades at these levels after a split yet a proven earnings company trades at a PE of 26? If I had a few million, I would buy the proven stock, stick it in a drawer and wait for tulip mania to pass and people to look for real earnings. I use Yahoo often and believe they will be around in the end. I don't own them but I can see where they do have worth. The rest of these screamers probably won't be in business anymore in 5-10 years. The internet didn't catch on until recently and already I have seen many "Big" sites come and go. AMZN should be a peeny stock. A speculative issue that might make it some day, not a leading NASDAQ issue. This market has become a lottery instead of a market where real value is evaluated, judged and trading is done on that basis. As a TA guy, I hate to admit it but we now trade on what is moving, not what something is worth.

Back to MU. MU may make some money again someday but their bread and butter business will still be cyclical and at $200, that doesn't take that into account. About the time they make money to start paying down their debt, the down cycle will hit again and they will be right back where they were at the beginning of this year. I feel sorry for the suckers that are buying it now. By the same token, I am not going to rush out and stand in front of that train. I will wait until the traffic slows down then load up on the puts. I think by spring, the price will resume going in the right direction.

Have to go to work soon as I read the next post. Is it half as cold and windy down there as it was here today?

PS - So far, I personally don't have to go play in the sand. Wish I could say the same for many of my friends. I wish Clinton would just quit and walk away. He is a sad excuse for a human being. We are sick and tired of being his pawns to get the cameras off him.
