So DO you believe Dipy's statement is correct. DID "misdemeanor" have a definition meaning less than high crimes at the time the Constitution was written? You've got it wrong. I said that "misdemeanor" had a definition different from what it means today -- its present-day definition being that it is a crime lesser in seriousness than a felony. It all started with BOB C. making yet another of his innumerable goofs by making statements to the effect that (a) Clinton has to go because he is guilty of perjury; (b) perjury is a felony; and (c) even if it is a misdemeanor, Clinton still has to go because the Constitution says, "...high crimes and misdemeanors"! And it was my intention to point out how silly that notion was. However, BOB C. is steadfastly opposed to facts coming in the way of his blunders, so I guess he still labors under his misconception!
