Wally and All: Impeachment thoughts. While I have to agree at this point with Brinker that the Senate does not have the 2/3 vote to convict at this point, everyone should pay attention to the procedures. Senators will not be allowed to speak during the hearings and, if they act as true jurors, they should not speak to the media during the trial. We should also try to gauge the length of any trial. Are we talking about a complete presentation of the facts by live witnesses like in a real trial? If so, this could go on for quite a bit. And if it does go on for a great deal of time without feedback from Senators as to how they will vote, people may start to wonder if the vote will perceived as straight forward as is currently the conventional thinking. I can't believe this would be good for the markets for the duration of the trial

This week was incredible as far as the markets are concerned. Makes you want to have war and impeachment every day of the week!
