See, I can't even begin to remember what I would have wanted to read after I read "Foundation." That's 30 years ago. Heinlein, probably. Maybe. The old fraud.

These days, it's stuff like William Gibson. "Neuromancer," "Burning Chrome," "Mona Lisa Overdrive." I would have read stuff like that in high school, but I wouldn't give it to a high school student. It would make me uncomfortable. Olders are supposed to be promoting aspirational standards, I guess. I really liked "Neuromancer." Gibson understood the net before there was a net.
