OT RESIGN Resignation would be the thing that would disappoint me the most. The radical wing of the republican party are making an attempt to change our system of government from a Presidential system to a Parliamentary system. They want the chief executive to serve a the whim of congress. That gives a committed small group much more power since they often act as the swing vote . If Clinton goes through a Senate trial he will win or lose as the President of the United States. If he resigns the next chief executive will be merely the head (or minority opposition) of the party controlling the House. TP
