I purchased 500 shares of US West before the spin-off of UMG and received 500 shares of UMG when they were spun off in 95 or 96. US West was paying between 6 and 7% dividend yield at the time I bot it so for me it was a no brainer. I am curious if you follow Novel? I have owned around 750 shares for several years and watched it go from a high of around 35 to below 7 in the past year. After reading about their NDS I bot another 750 shares today.
