jimpit, for the past two days all we have been hearing is comments from Democratic politicians that the impeachment process will negatively effort morale in the military. Those 6.7 second sound bites from Gephard and others have been playing non-stop since yesterday. The question I have is, how the heck do they know?

My reality tells me exactly the opposite is true. Is there not one reporter left in the major news media capable of thinking objectively? Or do they simply believe since they feel so negatively effected, the troops do too?? :-)

For those like my even headed friend Borzou who still don't believe there is a media bias in the news. I ask him to think carefully about the media's behavior and reporting this time, as compared to the last time a Republican President bombed Iraq.

Where is the CNN reporters interviewing Saadam with softball questions? Where is the shocked reporting of milk factories being bombed? Where is the tough questioning of our leaders about the reason we are there? Where and how are our vital national interests at stake? When do we consider a victory has been achieved?

The media have rolled over and played dead this time because they are so gleeful that Bill has found a strategy to maintain his grip on power. The evidence (or lack of) is overwhelming.
