Everything I read states that a major correction is coming before the end of January. I have not read the opposite. I have read that the market will do well until the end of the year, but the end of the year is days away. The advice of going cash at close is excellent advice. The book The Electronic Day Trader strongly recommends it, ignoring the risk of an impending correction. I presume that the reason for daytraders to keep positions overnight is not lose the gap up in the morning. The book makes a strong case that this is not a good idea.
