Hi, Mike. I see X has already written a nice, common sense answer on to how to treat your inconvenient and painful little problem. Not all of us are secure enough in our romantic relationships to ask our long suffering mates to perform minor surgery on swollen, perhaps ready-to-explode areas of our bodies, although I suspect there is a grooming instinct we inherited from our ape relatives which makes this somewhat pleasurable for some of us. I know that my teenaged daughter is always searching my face for some small imperfection that she might doctor. I guess squeezing stuff can be fun!!!

On a more practical note, if you want to prevent such occurrences in the future, I would suggest that you review how tight and confining your clothing might be. These things often start as ingrown hairs, or result from sitting down quite a bit. Your butt needs to breathe!!
