We need to expose the paid for newswire services for what they are. I think you're pitching this one way too strong. A great many people are inclined to believe pretty much anything they see in print, and their credulousness is their own fault. Biz and the other pay-for wire services don't, after all, present what they publish as independent opinion, or as their own work. Usually the legend "Company Press Release" appears right at the top of the page. Most companies tell the truth. Some don't. The reader should always maintain a healthy scepticism.
