<<--OT-->> So what is this 'New Economy'????..and the new Blue Chips. Great post, Mohan Am fully confident that the next Dell (if there is one) will be on that list of companies. The home computer is here to stay. A personalized device that consolidates everything desired in one place, music, C/D, DVD, videos, news, movies, e-mail, control of home room temperature, light schedules, security systems, brokerage accounts, years of financial records, copies of all letters written and received, family photos. The set-top box not the same, must have a full -function device. Also will be able to take a (Dell(G) portable to the mountain tops, along with a digital camera,no power, no phones. Sit up there with the goats and take pictures, write stories. Many of the most successful companies in the past, Sears, Wards, Home Depot, etc are pure sales. Don't build anything, just sell them Or the sale of words, like the newspapers. So the best chance to find a monster stock is in the Web sales area like IBId,Onsl,Amzn, etc. Or AOL who sells web time, etc While building the web, which will continue years, the manufacturers like Dell,Orcl, Lu, Csco, Nokia should do well. Now I wonder if Dell, who has gone from selling $6mm/day to $10/m plus HWP printers and Kodak cameras and xxx, could be classed as a 'Sales organization'???? Dell also seems to make money too, which is rare in the field. ( Hi Elwood)hehe Sig |
