All, R. Chaplinsky of H&Q issued an update on S3 this morning. Please read the following at your own risk: CONCLUSION: > Company experiencing strong sales in its 2D and 3D graphics accelertor chips. > Gross margins expanding due to richer product mix and cost reduction programs. > Company guidance of 5% (+/-2%) growth for March quarter shows strength in market share but slightly less than the original 10% estimate. > Maintain Buy recommendation with a 12 month price target of $24.
