Richard: I have been following this thread with great interest, though this is my first post. Though I have no particular background in biotech, I have been investing in the group over the past year or so. Two third tier biotechs that might deserve mention as good values for 1999 are CTII and GENZL. Both seem to have some good science going. Also, for a safer bet, why not look at some of the second tier. SANG closed at under $20 yesterday, and they have begun shipping product. Ligand also looks good to me. The efficient market theory just does not seem to be working. JimH
