I don't think there is much of a mystery. If any of us were in a position to sell our shares for a premium in order to buy shares at a discount with a option attached it would be a no brainer. Not only do we get flow through credits so we don't have to pay capital gains on what we sold we get an option to buy at a later date.
This is the main reason the share price of most companies softens prior to a PP. In this case in spite of this selling pressure by the insiders and probably any of the investment houses involved the share price still appreciated. This is a positive thing folks. Nothing sinister here. Just wish they would have asked me if I wanted some free money instead of hogging it all themselves and diluting our positions.
I have to believe that some of the results are in on the cores samples and that they have had the Micro count on the 500kg sample for some time. Makes me wonder what the hold up is. Could they be presenting these results to a potential suitor?
