Livingston comes up to the mike and begins his speech about presiding over the impeachment of a president who should resign. Democrats from the floor begin shouting, "You resign! You! You! You resign!" That was the very next thing in his speech. Within the hour Democrats were lining up at the microphones to lament the resignation and relate to us how wrong this action was that they'd interrupted the Speaker's presentation to suggest he do. Gephardt gives the clasic statement that we are setting the moral bar to high for our representatives. Keeping one's hands off the private parts of one's aides is too high? Tell that to Packwood Gephardt. The American people are out Christmas shopping and assaulting each other in mad attempts to get the latest fad toy. Maybe they'll see it later. --Alan
