Jim, Re your DELL 67 by 67.0625 example. Are you saying that if ISLD has 500 shares bid at 67 and I want to sell 1,000 shares at 67 that I'll get the 500 shares only, and a CANCEL on the balance??? I believe that's what you have said would happen.

Conversly: the quote is again 67 by 67.0625 and NITE and MASH are the ONLY ones on the bid. I want to sell 1,000 @ 67. Are you saying my entire order is killed? If not why not? (in light of the above example and the prohibition against a "locked market" that you mentioned).

And finally if the quote is 67 by 67.0625 and I place an ISLD order to sell at 66.875. What happens with this? why?

And one last one (g) Yesterday I placed this ISLD order and it was rejected: Sell 400 ONSL @ Market. Why might it have been rejected? I am guessing it was because ISLD does not accept market orders? When I changed it from "market" to the current bid price the order was executed in 3 seconds!
