Seems to me Livingston stepped down because of the likelihood of even more skeletons in his closet. Furthermore passing on speaker of the house, ain't even in the same ballpark as the nationally-elected Prez stepping down. (Although I think he should..at the point would rather have Gore in there). Sooner or later the markets are going to respond to this..and it won't be pretty.
