Well there may be some truth in what you say Les... but I dont think thats the reason.

Heres the reason the internet money likes Clinton, Boxer, Davis etc: Because they are YOUNG and the young tend to be liberal on social issues. The republicans have allowed themselves to be defined by the agenda of the Religious Right, this scares a lot of people but especially the young who are even more concerned with some divisional issues (such as abortion) than the general voters. Ordinarily 20-somethings dont have the voter turnout so the liberal bias isnt that noticable - except in this decade the unprecedented wealth that this group has achieved is causing them to be a force in politics.
