Bravo!

<<reverse the course of
prior decades of ever increasing, tired Democratic quasi-socialist nannyism.>>

Oh yes please sir!

<<Does
"getting" Clinton really matter to you more than seeing your agenda enacted? >>

Again, I really believe the acts he committed against another citizen, over something the likes of which he'd been previously forgiven- then elected in spite of- is truly a horrible thing. He simply MUST put the citizen he faces in court above his own petty worries of being caught fulfilling his own petty(substantial) desires. The Republican base is with the leadership. The base is passionate over this one. Republicans would lose a lot to the likes of Libertarians if they took your advice, I think. :-)

And by doggie there ARE plenty of Democrats, especially older ones, who are all for this impeachment too. They are extremely offended by Clinton and Dem. Reps. defending him as they are. The Republicans keep their base, and gather a few sympathetic Democrats. If they take your course, they lose their base, and gain a very few Republicans who oppose impeachment strongly. Hmmm...they might gain swing voters to replace their base? Naw, not many. They'll gain some of them in any event. It's all in the numbers.

"If the President perjured himself in a civil suit, that would certainly be impeachable"...Daniel Patrick Moynihan.
