Well that was the easiest (and quickest) DD I've ever done. I don't think I discovered anything that you don't already know, but I'll make some comments in case anyone else is reading this thread. CEO Gerald Soloway is the Chairman of the Trust Companies Association of Canada. This certainly adds to his credibility and means he's well known at Queen's Park and on Parliament Hill. They have first-rate Web sites. The only significant down-side risk is if we have a serious recession, but I see lots of upside. I don't imagine that they'll be paying dividends any time soon since they need to increase their capital. I wonder what CIBC and Canada Trust get in return for sending customers over to HCG? I think I'll phone HCG on monday and ask them. Do you know of any analyst coverage or press coverage? Looks like a STRONG BUY to me. Cheers, Gofer
