As I see it, your both on the same side. One (may?) be early, while the other takes a wait and see attitude.
Those who call the bottom and are right will make the biggest gains, while a cautious approach will also work.
This is an extremely difficult time to be a Gold enthusiast, and I can
see the frustrations every day when each rally fizzles with the shorts gaining the upper hand.
Bill knows and documents this game very well, but he cannot change it.
For me, I will continue to be long since I personally believe that the POG is manipulated/fixed*, and sooner or later this will crack. I never like to chase prices up, so I'll be early.

* The consistent selloff in AU on Friday's is a dead giveaway. If you wanted to keep demand down, what better way than to plaster the weekend papers showing Gold down significantly, week in week out. Most investors read and study the financial sections over the weekend and all they keep seeing is the POG in the RED, and of course they will be repelled. You have to give it to them, it's a brilliant strategy that works well for now.

Anyway, Merry Christmas to all........
