Market Gems needs someone available to make about 25-30 phone calls a week for the next 8 weeks to investor relations departments of companies verifying earnings dates.
You need to be available to get call backs from these departments (an answering machine is good enough), as a good number of them will take your call on their answering machines. And we need the dates e-mailed as they come in. The phone numbers of the investor relations departments will be provided. Background is just someone who has read the thread for a while and likes to trade and can utilize a year's subscription.
We also need some 'digging' in on line technical magazines; Networking News; Semiconductor On Line; Broadband On Line; Internet World etc for interesting news and trends in these sectors.

Also can keep on top of Business Week on line, and WSJ "Heard on the Net" or Heard on the Street daily. Should be a couple of hours a week work for next 2 months.. and you MUST have AT&T one rate service at 10 cents a minute or comparable long distance service for the phone calls. I can make long distance calls to anywhere for only 10 cents a minute, and a call to Investor relations is usually under 1 minute but sometimes can be 2 minutes if you have to leave your message on their machine. The calls are crucial but the reading can be done at leisure, no hurry, no pressure. You will be getting a $400 annual subscription for compensation for these two months of calls and the research.. In the event more research is needed, cash compensation will be given,

We feel it is crucial to have exact dates of earnings reports in the next 8 weeks. I have added some growth/value companies that are new and were not on our previous earnings plays lists and I would like to have their earnings report date direct from the company.

Another position is open for database expert able to handle 1,000+ subscription base with Microsoft Access. It will involve bulk e-mail updates, tracking subscriptions, etc. That will be needed about 10-12 hours a week, compensation will be in cash.. of course at the going rate.
