Uhhh... because it had nothing to do with the charges at hand perhaps, and was just some sleaze tactic by Starr to bring in something unrelated, which was unverifyable given the impeachment vote timeframe? Maybe thats the reason. Just more unethical behavior from the bible thumpers. Nothing new.
