Checking in before hitting the rack after after a busy day. The MU TAs used FA, & TA to do trades. Kurlak was also a big factor at that time. They watched him like a hawk. Most of them traded for 1/4 and 1/2 points during the day and hoped to get lucky on a good run up or down. Mostly down at that time.

You are correct that real short term technical traders will not comment on long term trends. If they take a long position that starts going south they close it out fast, and establish a short position to capitalize on the tape. I found it interesting at the time. I had never seem such objective noncommitted analysis and trading on a single issue of stock. I don't think very many positions were held over night. It was an education.
