I am unsure of earnings this quarter because of the high cost of software development and the slow growth in U.S. POS terminals. I could easily see a quarter or two of slow earnings because of this transition from hardware to software company. But VFI has superb management and a tight control of costs, so it would not surprise me that they could maintain margins during the transition. We shall see in about 40 minutes! I still wonder why they are getting rid of vice pres. of internet commerce. Perhaps they will discuss software division shake-up in their press release.
